Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 February 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for or using Reverse Locum, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the UK to use this platform as a pharmacist. Pharmacies must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. Platform Role
Reverse Locum is a marketplace that connects locum pharmacists with pharmacies. We are not an employer or employment agency. Engagements between pharmacists and pharmacies are independent contracts. Reverse Locum is not a party to those contracts.
4. Compliance & Verification
Pharmacists must upload all required compliance documents (DBS, Photo ID, Right to Work, Indemnity Insurance) and keep them up to date. Profiles are only made visible to pharmacies after admin verification of these documents. Automated AI ID checks assist our review process but do not constitute the sole basis of any decision. You consent to this processing when uploading identity documents.
5. Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you acknowledge that your data (including compliance documents) will be processed as described. You have rights including access, rectification, and erasure — see our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You must not: provide false or misleading information; upload fraudulent documents; harass or abuse other users; use the platform for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to circumvent the platform's matching process by transacting outside it.
7. Bookings & Payments
Bookings confirmed through the platform create a binding engagement between pharmacist and pharmacy. Payment is due from the pharmacy within the agreed terms. Reverse Locum charges a commission on confirmed bookings as disclosed at the time of booking.
8. Cancellations
Cancellations must be made through the platform. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in account suspension. Both parties should provide adequate notice and reasonable cancellation reasons.
9. Reviews
Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. Abusive, defamatory, or fraudulent reviews will be removed. You may report reviews you believe violate these terms.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, provide fraudulent documents, or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Limitation of Liability
Reverse Locum provides the platform on an 'as is' basis. We are not liable for the conduct of pharmacists or pharmacies, the outcome of bookings, or any losses arising from use of the platform beyond what is required by law.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
